The queen will rise.
Dinah has been exiled from Wonderland. The vicious father she always feared has framed her for the brutal murder of her brother and turned the kingdom against her.
Now hiding in the lush and mysterious Twisted Wood with only her war steed at her side, Dinah is faced with a choice. She could leave Wonderland forever or return and fight her father for her throne—a fight she knows would only result in bloodshed.
When a chance encounter with one of her father’s long-lost enemies brings Dinah more allies than she ever could have imagined, war starts to feel inevitable. But before Dinah can lead her people into combat, she must confront certain truths about her heart and her destiny—no matter how dark those truths may be.
Revolution is rising in Wonderland.
Dinah’s battle has begun.

Blood of Wonderland is the sequel to Queen of Hearts, an introduction to the evil Queen Red when she was a teenager. Dinah is now fully away from the palace and finds new friends to help her along the way. One of them is a man who she despises, who is much more to her than she could have ever thought he could be – Chesire, the king’s right hand man.

Dinah has a lot of self discovery in this book. She has to find if she has the strength to face her father, who has tried to usurp her and place a puppet on the throne in her place. He has murdered her brother and put blame on her, casting her out and into the wilderness. Although she comes close to being found, one of the soldiers leaves and assists her in hiding and seeking out her father’s enemies.

What killed me most was seeing her start to turn evil, turn her back on one she loved. Wardley unfortunately cares for her, but not in the way that she wants him to. What will happen when she has to face this truth? I loved this book, especially on audio. I’m looking forward to the insanity of the last book.

I highly suggest reading these as audiobooks if you enjoy audios. I loved every second of this book and cannot wait for more.
