Looking Forward: September is a long month, but I know I’ll see low reading. My husband is going to be on my schedule for the next 4 months and that’s going to put a little stopper on my reading. He’s in a police training program – so proud of him!

Life: This month was pretty stressful cause I ended up getting a new job, I also had some crazy shenanigans with my friends. I have really been stressed about adult type things but I think the new job is really going to help with that. I went to Leakycon at the beginning of the month which was an incredible experience and I had such an amazing time there.  My obsessive personality really kicked my ass this month.

Reading: I managed to read 19 books this month.

  1. The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverley Cleary
  2. The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner
  3. The Flatshare by Beth O Leary
  4. Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
  5. Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy by T. Sutherland
  6. Long Way Home by Katie McGarry
  7. With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo
  8. Spellslinger by Sebastian De Castell
  9. Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim
  10. Awakened by P.C. and Kristin Cast
  11. Dev1at3 by Jay Kristoff
  12. Again, but Better by Christine Riccio
  13. The Shadowglass by Rin Chupeco
  14. Beyond Bullets by Megan Rutell
  15. Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimen
  16. The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu
  17. Gravitation Vol 1 by Maki Murakami
  18. Gravitation Vol 2 by Maki Murakami
  19. Gravitation Vol 3 and 4 by Maki Murakami

Looking Forward: I start my new job September 3rd! I am a little nervous but mainly I am really looking forward to be out of retail for the first time in seven years. I also have Witches Thanksgiving with my coven later on this month and I know that is going to be an extremely fun day which I can’t wait for. I am also going to see the Jones Brothers in concert at the end of the month with my sister in law.

  1. WOWSERS!! Great seeing Treasure Island in that mix! Loved that book as a child. I probably want to read 9 tenths of that list… lol. Happy September!

  2. Danielle Hammelef

I can’t even wrap my head around that many books for a month. Amazing! I see so many highly anticipated books of mine on your read list too. Being sick is never fun and I’m glad it was only an annoying cold for you.

  3. Sorry you got sick—seems like the beginning of the school year is famous for that. My daughter got sick at the beginning of the school year and brought it home to all of us. She actually can’t quite shake the cough, even though it’s been weeks now!

    I can’t believe you read 41 books! That’s insane!! 🙂
