Book of Shadows by Cate Tie..

Book of Shadows by Cate Tiernan Book Review

This book was such a surprise, I really went into it, not knowing what it was about. It is actually a fiction book about a girl discovering Wicca, which is so up my alley right now. I have been really researching Wicca and getting into it so it was pretty great to read a book about someone else doing the same thing. The writing style in this is very simple but I think it works well since you are learning a lot of things and its nice to have them laid out in simple terms. I also enjoy the main […]

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week our topic is: Books to pull you out of a reading slump Listed in no particular order.   This is one of my favorite books of all time because it is the best Victorian novel I have ever read, its super fun and intelligent, and it has great diversity. It is also a pretty quick read so it will definitely help with a reading slump.   Whether its your first or 10000 time reading it Harry Potter will always do the trick.   It’s cute and fun and they own a […]

Book Review: A Curious Begi..

Book Review: A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn

This is an extremely intelligent book which is something I love, books that have clever writing and dialogue are my favorite kinds. Our main character is living in Victorian England and she is a scientist who does expeditions aboard to study butterflies. She is a true unique character who I adore completely. Once her aunt dies and her place of residence gets broken into, a baron who knew the mother she had never met implores her to come to London with him for she is in grave danger. She only goes because she had planned on leaving anyways and this […]

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week our topic is: Books that lived up to the hype Listed in no particular order.   This one had quite a bit of hype on booktube and bookstagram but I also hyped it up a lot in my head because I love the Victorian era. It was an amazing book and it had some great LGBTQIA+ content that I was not expecting so that is always a huge plus and honestly I have not found another Victorian Era book that is even close to how good this one […]
