Descendant of the Crane Boo..

Descendant of the Crane Book Review

So I read this as an e-arc from netgalley so bear in mind that some things I say might not be in the finished copy. The formatting of this book was very strange and it honestly confused me a lot. As an example we would randomly jump from scene to scene without any kind of a cohesive structure. This lead to me thinking I had somehow missed a page. However I found that it was just how the book was structured. This might have been fixed in the final copy. My next thing is more of the gripe, this book […]

Please Send Help Book Revie..

Please Send Help Book Review

I enjoyed this one just as much as the first one. I really love the witty dialogue and how close these two girls are to each other. I really relate to both of them in so many different ways. They are so well written and really jump off the page at you. I also love how the authors really know exactly how people actually talk it makes the dialogue seem so much more natural. Texting or instant messaging is one of my favorite ways of storytelling and the authors pull it off flawlessly I also loved that even though […]

Red, White and Royal Blue B..

Red, White and Royal Blue Book Review

This book has become without a doubt my new favorite book of all time. It has such a beautiful message at its core and being someone who lives in Austin Texas like where Alex is from it adds another layer to it. It feels like what should have happened in America back in 2016, and it kinda breaks your heart in that way. Alex and Henry and amazing, their dynamic, their chemistry is unmatched to any other that I have ever seen or experienced. This book is so incredibly real, important and downright hilarious. I laughed, cried, scream, I felt […]

Never Contented Things by S..

Never Contented Things by Sarah Porter Book Review

This is one of the strangest books that I have ever read, and at times it felt almost as if I had fallen asleep reading and then had nightmares surrounding the characters and the world but no that was the actual book. For the most part I did really enjoy the uniqueness of the book but it also was a bit of a downfall in ways. I really loved the complex characters especially Josh I thought he was really well done. Kezzer is probably the most fleshed out because we spend the most time in her perspective but I loved […]
