It’s time.

Evil is running rampant and sweet Anna Whitt is its target. Nobody knows when or how the Dukes will strike, but Anna and her Nephilim allies will do anything necessary to rid the earth of the demons and their oppressive ways.

The stakes are higher than ever, and Anna is determined that the love she feels will be her strength, not a liability. But trying to protect the ones she loves while running for her life and battling demonic forces proves to be perilous—especially as faces are changing and trust is fleeting. When the Duke of Lust sends Anna’s great love, Kaidan Rowe, to work against her, Anna must decide how much she’s prepared to risk.

In the most sensual and fast-paced installment yet, Sweet Reckoning brings all the beloved Neph together one last time to fight for their freedom.

shortA brief word of warning, Sweet Reckoning is the third and final installment of the trilogy. While I try to stay away from spoilers, if you have not read books one and two yet, you may want to come back once you have. You have been warned.

The final battle has begun! It is time for the Dukes to fall.

Anna is back in action. Working to take down the Dukes, free the Nephilim, and somehow find a way to live happily ever after with the dreamy Kaidan. Like most books in this series, the half of Sweet Reckoning was a little slow. Getting us readers back on track with what has happened. Taking us through the steps to get everything in place for what will happen. All leading up to one killer conclusion.

I have to say of all the angel and demon Young Adult reads / series I have come across, The Sweet Trilogy has to be one of my favorites. After reading and loving all three installments, it is hard to pick a favorite, but Sweet Reckoning is definitely either spot one or two. Everything ends close to what I expected it to, plus there are still a few surprises.

Verdict:

Great finale. Almost perfection.
