July in Review

Month in Review is a feature in which we wrap up what went on each month in terms of our blog, reading and other things in our life. Feel free to leave a link in the comments to your own monthly wrap up post so we can stop by.

on the blog…

Well, I guess I’ve been a bit busy and neglectful of my blog… *sigh*

more personally…

Life: I love my puppy Zeus and he’s taking a lot of my time. I did read a lot and I went on a trip to Orlando, Florida for a conference I won via Capstone for being a librarian and buying their books. ILA was an amazing conference and it was weird to travel alone but I really enjoyed it and met a ton of people. My puppy was sad when I was gone and so happy when I came back, I got lots of kisses and hugs. We started taking him to the dog park and he’s been loving all the extra exercise. I’ve been seeing a nutritionist and doing some physical training this summer. I haven’t lost much weight, but I’ve lost something and started eating a lot better and trying to be more active. I also had a great time at our Harry Potter party time in our downtown area, it was full of nerds both young and old and it was a blast.
