Life: Our new dog Calli is doing great, and Zeus loves her, they don’t like to be apart very much. They love to play and wrestle and steal each others bones. She had some digestive issues but is now doing better after medication and a different food that has more digestive elements. I spent a lot of time with family and friends in July, but also with readathons! I did the 24in48, Dewey’s Reverseathon and started Booktubeathon this week. NEWTs is also in August and I cannot wait! I’m starting to catch up on my reading goal and the countdown to school starting has begun.. I don’t want to go back to work. I’m also crazy and applied for a night job at a college – just twice a week for 3 hours each day. We’ll see if I get it. Looking at saving for a house and to do some upgrades to our condo in the next 5 years. My husband is also looking at working some security jobs on his days off to make some extra money. I asked him to wait til I was back at work and would miss him less.

Looking Forward: I’m hoping I can read a ton before school starts and hopefully will start off the school year well! I’m going to be booked this year since we went to full day Kindergarten and I’ll be seeing those classes twice in the library. Looking at buying some stations materials so we can do some fun things that involve movement and engagement. I hate when summer ends but I do love my job (as much as I complain) and am looking forward to seeing my coworkers and students again. 🙂

Life: So this was quite an exciting month for me, I went to the last Warped Tour which was bittersweet cause it was a lot of fun but it is the last one that will ever happen. I also applied to a local college and registered for classes most of which are online but I do have one class that is on campus twice a week. I am excited to go back to school as it has been a really long time since I have been. Also my partner and I have been talking about land out here and houses which we are going to tour one today, so if that all goes well we could possibly be getting into a house when the lease on our apartment is up. Last but not least my vacation started right at the very end of the month and continues the whole first week of August which is fantastic and it’s really nice sleeping in and getting to relax.

Reading: I managed to read 24 books this month which is pretty great 🙂

Looking Forward: I am really excited to start school at the end of this month. Its going to be a little crazy at first juggling classes, work, reading, and everything else but I am sure that I’ll be okay. I am excited to go down to see my dad this weekend since I haven’t seen him since Christmas. Also can not wait for the To All the Boys I Loved Before movie that is coming in the middle of the month, I am planning to reread the books before watching so I am going to have to try and work them into my N.E.W.T.S some how. And of course I am dead excited about participating in the N.E.W.T.S. readathon.
