After three installments, the married life of Princess Nakaba and Prince Caesar is beginning to settle down. Sure, there are still plenty of problems that need to be ironed out, but at least, they are on the right track… for now.
Dawn of the Arcana, Volume 4 opens with Princess Nakaba having a startling vision about a mysterious girl. Who is she? And why would any one want to harm her? These questions linger at the beginning of Volume 4.
After the slight disappoint with Dawn of the Arcana, Volume 3, I was a little wary of the next installment. The first two installments started off so strongly that I was beginning to fear the worst. Thankfully, Dawn of the Arcana, Volume 4 has renewed my faith in this series again.
There is something about the chemistry between Princess Nakaba and Prince Caesar. When it is there, it is THERE. It makes the manga just light up a little bit. The awkwardness about them is so cute and gives me the warm fuzzies. You cannot help but root for them.
The series is far from perfect. But what it lacks is more than made up for in other areas. With this installment, I am beginning to again see why I feel in love with the series in the first place. And cannot wait to see what the future has in store for our characters.
