Life: May was hectic as predicted, me going in early to try to start and finish inventory before the end of the school year. I’ll be working some days extra to box books to make way for a new layout and some new furniture in my school library. Very exciting but I have some fears that it won’t be put together in time for the beginning of the school year. ūüôā

Reading: As predicted, my reading dropped to 15 books this month as I came home exhausted most days and fell into bed without a book’s help. I’m surprised I read as much as I did!

  1. Giant Days Vol. 9 by John Allison
  2. Ensnared (Splintered, #3) by A.G. Howard
  3. Finding Orion by John David Anderson
  4. The Last Star (The 5th Wave, #3) by Rick Yancey
  5. Last of Her Name by Jessica Khoury
  6. The Clockwork Ghost (York, #2) by Laura Ruby
  7. The Rook¬†(The Checquy Files, #1) by Daniel O’Malley
  8. Girl Town by Carolyn Nowak
  9. Ever After (The Hollows, #11) by Kim Harrison
  10. The Strangers (Greystone Secrets, #1) by Margaret Peterson Haddix
  11. Zita the Spacegirl by Ben Hatke
  12. Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer
  13. A Question of Holmes(Charlotte Holmes, #4) by Brittany Cavallaro
  14. Wishes and Wellingtons by Julie Berry

DNF: Gave up around 60 pages – just no buy in or background to characters/plot for me.

  1. Wicked Saints (Something Dark and Holy, #1) by Emily Duncan

Looking Forward: I am so looking forward to a summer off (once I’m off!) and plan some relaxation and also going to start the Keto diet since it worked well for my husband. My husband plans to work his side job a bit more since we won’t have summer school money coming in, but he thinks it is easy and doesn’t mind the extra hours. Hoping to do some deep cleaning and getting rid of stuff this summer as well!

Life: May was crazy busy for me, I had a ton of social things (which is not something I ever thought I would say,) cause I was hanging out with friends a lot. I was also working a lot this month and I got married as well!! ūüôā

Reading: I only managed to read 13 books this month because like I said I was incredibly busy.

  1. Bloom into You Vol 5 by Nio Nakatani
  2. The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli
  3. The Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz
  4. Almost Midnight by Rainbow Rowell
  5. Lost Soul, Be at Peace by Maggie Thrash
  6. New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
  7. Please Send Help by Gabby Dunn and Alison Raskin
  8. Awakening by Cate Tiernan
  9. The Bronze Key by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare
  10. The World’s Greatest First Love Vol 6 by Shungiku Nakamura
  11. The World’s Greatest First Love Vol 7 by Shungiku Nakamura
  12. The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman
  13. Suitors and Sabotage by Cindy Anstey

Looking Forward: Seth and I are moving into the new apartment at the end of this month. It is in the same complex it’s just a bigger apartment because his sister is also coming at the end of this month and she will be living with us from then on. I will also be clearing out things this month that way we have less stuff to move. I am really excited to have a bigger place with a bigger kitchen and I am excited for Maddie to be here, but I am also nervous about it. It is just crazy to think that I am 23, married and about to be raising a thirteen year old. Wish me luck <3

  1. I’ve been doing the Keto diet and it’s worked absolutely great for me! First week was pretty terrible but I have no hunger now and I’m 3 weeks in.

I can’t believe how much you read this month – Congrats!

Wow to all those books! I have York and Finding Orion on my summer TBR. We have a new kitchen now that I love and I am slowly going through our things and reducing.
