Monster Review-a-thon Sign Up!

After participating in the Bout of Books 8.0 readathon, I'm sure I'm not the only one with reviews piling up. So, it's been a while since we hosted a review-a-thon, so I'm excited to be hosting this one again. Here's the info:

Date: August 26-September 1
Goal: To review as many books as you can.
Obviously, still read, but it's a chance to get caught up on backlogs of reviews and keep up with current ones. You have a whole week, so set your goals and get to work!
Since this is an impromptu Review-a-Thon, we will not be having any mini-challenges this go around. But there will be a lot of fun to be had. Also, be sure to join us on twitter #monsterRAT during the week and for 2 Twitter Chats:

Twitter Chat times:

Tuesday, August 27th at 6 pm CST  #monsterRAT

Sunday, September 1st at 3 pm CST  #monsterRAT

Feel free to use the hashtag all week, I'll be around in after-school hours! Make sure to follow us on Twitter:

Kristen: @bookgoil

Kate: @neshelf

To join us, declare yourself!

Sign up for the Monster Review-a-Thon by leaving a link to your post in the Linky below. We'll have a button up tomorrow as well for you to use. 🙂

Need extra incentive? If you join us, we'll have two prizes to giveaway – the first is for US only, a box of August/September/October YA arcs to get you reading or for international peeps, a $15 book from The Book Depository. I'll have the Rafflecopters for both up tomorrow with the starting line post.

So, what are you waiting for? Sign up! Post a direct link to your post/tweet/etc so I can visit you!

  1. I sooo need to do this!!! I am so far begin on all of my reviews! And school starts in a week and I had wanted some to schedule in advance!!! This is soooooo awesome!!! Can't wait!! 🙂

  2. I'm thinking about it, not that I got too much read during Bout of Books, but maybe if I tried one review per day to schedule out, I'd get more in the habit?  Wonder if I could write coherently while watching TV? I'm doing a Watch-a-thon this week with another group of mine since I never end up watching the shows I'm interested in! lol!

  3. Oh my goodness yes! I was caught up just before the Bout of Books started and now I need this motivation to get caught up again. I'll be back with my sign up post Tuesday morning! Thank you for just what I need this week!

  4. I am always SO happy when you gals host an event! This one is timely, as always! Just posted my intent to join – and posted my first review as well!

I'll be hosting several book giveaways as well during this event, including one that just started – a 3-book giveaway for the Up North Adventure series – be sure to check it out during your visit! 🙂
