I have had hot and cold experiences with Alyson Noel's books in the past. Some I really, really liked. Some I could have just skipped over. The premise of Fated was enough to get me interested, but time would only tell what the final outcome of my feelings would be.   Fated starts with a lot of backstory. And I mean A LOT. Book View: Evermore

Short & Sweet: Evermore was a reread for me and I have to say I didn't like it quite as much as the first time. I think I am getting annoyed with the hot/cold relationships found in paranormal YA. I do like the other aspects – the ghost of a dead sister, the history between Ever and Damen. The plot is a little based on the romance, jealous ex-girlfriend and really made me lose interest quickly.
