Entwined is a retelling of the 12 dancing princesses and this one features the eldest sister of twelve, Azalea and on her mother’s deathbed, she promises that she will look after her sisters. Book View: Entwined

Short and Sweet: Entwined is hands down the best Twelve Dancing Princesses retelling I have ever read. Dixon crafts a magical tale, filled with memorable characters and a twist that was beyond my expectations. Often times with the retelling of this tale, I get all the girls mixed up. Maybe one or two of them standout. And there were definitely a quite a few standouts with Entwined, but surprisingly after finishing the book, I could still name every girl and think of something unique about her.
