I read the book version of Beautiful Creatures when it first came out. The graphic novel looked really appealing at the library, so I decided to pick it up and give it a try. Especially since I plan on watching the movie finally, I thought it would be a quick reminder of the story line and characters. Book Review: Beautiful Darkness

After the ending of the first book, Lena seems different and keeps changing as the book goes on – she starts distancing herself from Ethan and doing uncharacteristic things – like dressing more gothy and hanging out with the bad crowd.
