I wasn't quite sure about this one going into it. Definitely not my usual realistic fiction read, but I loved Stacy & Valerie's writing in Karma Bites so I thought I'd give this one a shot.   The first couple of pages shocked me! Book Review: Karma Bites

When Franny discovers how to use her grandmother's magical box of recipes, she decides to put it to good use – solving all of her problems. Let's just say there's some seriously hilarious and horrible results to this use of magic. I really loved this book.
