I have been anticipating Flicker and Burn since I read the excerpt in the back of Cold Fury last summer. As sequels go, I found myself immersed into the story right away without forgetting much about the first book, even though it has been a year since I read it. When I read this one, I was so ready for something different and that's exactly what I was expecting. I couldn't wait to dig into this action-packed novel about a girl who is in a mob family and must find out where her family has disappeared.
