Book View: The Blood of Olympus

The Blood of Olympus is the last in the series, one that I didn’t think I could love more than Percy Jackson, but I do. I loved seeing the characters grow and the budding romances build up. The last volume has lots of adventure, peril and characterization that really pulls you in. Book View: The Lost Hero

Short & Sweet: An amazing new series by Rick Riordan, the first book takes you into the world of Percy Jackson, but from the point of view of a new male character – Jason. Full of action, adventure, and peril, this new series is one I'm looking forward to reading more of – and so are my students. Many of them groaned when I told them the next book would be out until this coming fall.   Final Verdict: A series that may even surpass the Percy Jackson books.
