The Monster Report

report

Welcome to another edition of the Monster Report. The Monster Report explores the book happenings of Jessica and Kristen. Whether it be what we got in our mailboxes, what books we are currently hiding in, or fun stuff to look forward to this week at The Book Monsters, you can find it here. The Monster Report is inspired by Alea‘s This Week in Books, Tynga’s Stacking the Shelves, and Kathryn at the Book Date‘s It’s Monday, What are you Reading? Also, Teach Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers also host a kidlit version of It’s Monday, What are you Reading?

None.

Read this Week:

La double disparition (Les Enquêtes d'Enola Holmes #1) Hey, Kiddo Honor Among Thieves (The Honors, #1) Pale Demon (The Hollows, #9) The Giver (The Giver, #1)

I loved the graphic novel of Enola Holmes – it is a series I’ve really enjoyed in print and I love what they did with the graphic novel. Hey, Kiddo made me cry so hard -I just love graphic memoirs and I hope everyone reads this one. Honor Among Thieves is a fantastic sci-fi adventures that really gripped me. I really enjoyed it! Pale Demon was intense and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen in the end. I’ll be interested to see what Rachel chooses to do in the next book. The Giver just broke my heart again – what a moving and intense story!

Currently Reading:

Monument 14 (Monument 14, #1) Searching for Dragons (Enchanted Forest Chronicles, #2) A Reaper at the Gates (An Ember in the Ashes, #3)
