The Monster Report

The Monster Report explores the book happenings of Kate and Kristen. Whether it be what we got in our mailboxes, what books we are currently hiding in, or fun stuff to look forward to this week at The Book Monsters, you can find it here. The Monster Report is a spin off of my old Shelf Report, and is inspired by Kristi's In My Mailbox and Sheila's It's Monday, What are you Reading?

Kate is the co-blog owner of The Book Monsters. I am a twenty-something year old who is passionate about reading. I currently hold a B.A. in English and am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two (cat) children, Gracie and Kit, who are total divas. I have an insane and possibly unhealthy passion for reading. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book.

Ooh I can’t wait to read what you think of Juliet Immortal, Kate. I’m so intrigued by that, love the twist on Romeo and Juliet! And you’re also making me want to go reread matched now 🙂 You girls both had a fantastic bookish-week, I hope you enjoy reading them!

Just started it.. and it is really interesting. Romeo is CRAZY!!

Reread it! I forgot how much I enjoyed Matched. Read it in like a day.

🙂 I understand, they are FANTASTIC graphic novels. Bill Willingham is my hero and he’ll be near where I live in September for a conference and I am dying to meet him. Always nice to find another comic book enthusiast.

  4. Oh oh oh! I stumbled across your blog earlier (sorry, I said that in another comment) and liked it, but I’ve just fallen in love. I went to a comic book fair (and a few stores too) this week and bought loads of the fable books, with a few more in the post.

I’ve never seen them on anybody else’s blog, so excuse the over-excitement…

  5. You’ve had a busy week. I’ve been so busy having fun with my kids and doing homework, that I’ve hardly taken any time to read. Come see what I did finish and why I’ll be reading even less this week!

  6. I have heard mixed reviews about the Wind Up Girl which has put me off reading it. Look forward to seeing what you think of it.
