The Monster Report

The Monster Report explores the book happenings of Kate and Kristen. Whether it be what we got in our mailboxes, what books we are currently hiding in, or fun stuff to look forward to this week at The Book Monsters, you can find it here. The Monster Report is a spin off of my old Shelf Report, and is inspired by Kristi's In My Mailbox and Sheila's It's Monday, What are you Reading?

Come out for a chance to meet six YA authors! After a moderated panel discussing YA literature, writing, and publishing, we'll be taking questions from the audience. Afterwards, we'll be signing books. Don't forget to enter for our big doorprize!

And last but certainly not least is the Southern Book Festival. At this time, there have only been a few YA authors announced but I am always excited for this event.

Until next week, stay scary Monsters.

Kate is the co-blog owner of The Book Monsters. I am a twenty-something year old who is passionate about reading. I currently hold a B.A. in English and am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two (cat) children, Gracie and Kit, who are total divas. I have an insane and possibly unhealthy passion for reading. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book.

Hope you had a great birthday! Looks like you all are pretty close in monster vs. monster right now. I wish I could go to the Ash to Nash tour, but I’ll be out of town. I am hoping to definitely plan a casual meet-up at the SFoB this year for the Tennessee Book Bloggers. Last year ended up not working out and I didn’t even get to go. =O( It’s always a hard weekend because it’s right around my birthday and there is always so much going on. I hope you will be able to join us. =O)

Happy Birthday! I am curious how you are liking Bloody Jack – I am on the second audio and really liking it.
