The Monster Report

The Monster Report explores the book happenings of Kate and Kristen. Whether it be what we got in our mailboxes, what books we are currently hiding in, or fun stuff to look forward to this week at The Book Monsters, you can find it here. The Monster Report is a spin off of my old Shelf Report, and is inspired by Kristi's In My Mailbox and Sheila's It's Monday, What are you Reading?

To be honest, I didn't really keep track this week. So I will just be counting reads since July 1st for our Monster vs Monster competition. And by the way, I really need more Team Kate supporters. Kristen is kicking my butt. 🙁

I'm working on a few books currently too but technically Kate is ahead. 🙂 Don't forget to vote!

Kate is the co-blog owner of The Book Monsters. I am a twenty-something year old who is passionate about reading. I currently hold a B.A. in English and am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two (cat) children, Gracie and Kit, who are total divas. I have an insane and possibly unhealthy passion for reading. You can usually find me with my nose buried in a book.

    Go Kate!

Possession looks interesting, and as I can see my copy from here, looks like it will be a quick read too, judging by it’s thickness.

    Happy reading both of you!

  2. My students really like that Gutman series. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. I am curious about The Fox Inheritance because I really liked The Adoration of Jenna Fox. I’ll be looking for your review. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!

  3. Girl Genius is great. Happy reading.

My reading list consists of a lot of picture books read with my children, as well as the manga I’ve been reading with my oldest. Come see what I read.
